Tightrope
by Gail Seres-Woolfson / Samuel Adebayo / Deniz Dortok

"Two bodies respond to each other and the structures, space and soundscape around them. Tightrope is a piece created and performed by Gail Seres-Woolfson (visual artist), Samuel Adebayo (actor/movement practitioner) and Deniz Dortok (composer/musician). It forms part of the collaborative strand of Gail’s practice, exploring the built environment and a choreography of structures and spaces using collage and abstraction. Compositions evolve slowly through improvisation, chance connections, and a tension between movement and stillness, the solid and the ephemeral, the familiar and the extraordinary. The work offers a point of momentary resolution but also an invitation for future transformation and rearrangement."

Gail Seres-Woolfson is an award-winning multi-disciplinary collage artist exploring the juxtapositions and possibilities of the built environment.
